Aquatabs® water disinfection tablets

Aquatabs® tablets are a disinfectant for drinking water. A single tablet treats 1 liter of water in just 30 minutes.

Application

What is it used for?

Aquatabs® tablets are a disinfectant for drinking water. Each tablet contains a modern formulation with powerful biocidal action. The substance kills bacteria (99.9999%), viruses (99.99%), protozoa and fungi and parasites to prevent diarrheal diseases such as cholera, typhoid, dysentery and other water-borne diseases.

  • Manufactured in Ireland by Medentech®.

A single tablet treats 1 liter of clear water in just 30 minutes. Properly used, they are completely safe for health – water is ready for consumption 30 minutes after using the tablet. Do not swallow the pills!

  • Tested according to NSF / ANSI Standard 60 (Meets health and safety standards)

Use to...

  • Use only in clear water. Cloudy water should be filtered mechanically, such as with a special filter or improvised filter (such as cloth).
  • INSTRUCTIONS:
    1) Acquire clear water in a container or filter dirty water.
    2) Then put the tablets in it (in the ratio: 1 tablet per 1 liter of clear water). For highly contaminated water, use 2 tablets per 1 liter of water.
    3) Shake or stir.
    4) Wait 30 minutes. If the temperature is low, extend the waiting time.
    5) After this time, the water should be drinkable.
  • Includes 10 tablets (one tablet is sufficient for up to 1 liter of clear water).
  • The expiration date is 5 years from the date of manufacture.

DANGER! Do not swallow tablets. Keep out of reach of children. Use only in accordance with the directions and precautions.

WARNING! May cause irritation of the respiratory tract. Contact with acids releases toxic gases. Causes severe eye irritation. Very toxic to aquatic organisms, causing long-term effects.

IF INHALED TO EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if any, and they can be easily removed. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Seek medical advice/care. Avoid release to the environment. Further instructions can be found in the safety data sheet.

Additional water container with a capacity of 480 ml. In an emergency situation, refill it with drinking water, or cluster it with water that needs to be filtered.

Use to...

  • Use it as an additional container for drinking water or other liquids you find useful. Remember not to make them too thick, as this can make it difficult to drink through the mouthpiece.
  • Example of use:
    1) Open the valve and fill the container with water to be filtered.
    2) Screw the container to the bottom of the filter straw.
    3) Use gravity or squeeze the container.
    4) When the container is empty, unscrew it from the filter straw.
    5) Close the valve when finished.
  • It has a convenient drinking mouthpiece that can be closed tightly.
