Dinner without power. When there's no electricity or gas, you tear open the pouch and eat straight away, even by torchlight.
Three days in three packs. Three 200 g packs add up to 2760 kcal, which is a ration for 72 hours.
You get three 200 g rations in both kits, and in MAX PRO they sit in the FOOD & WATER module together with spring water and a filter straw. That way you have food and drink for the first days in one module.

What is the BDH energy bar for? It is a food ration for a blackout, an evacuation or a stop on the road when you have no way to cook. You open the pack and eat it straight away, dry or with water or milk poured over it, and three packs are enough for 72 hours.
One 200 g pack is a concentrated, balanced, vacuum-packed meal: 3851 kJ, or 920 kcal, in four individually wrapped cubes. Every 100 g contains 460 kcal, 66 g carbohydrates (including 18 g sugars), 18 g fat, 10 g protein and 230 mg sodium. The best before date is 2045.
The ingredient list is short: wheat flour 60%, vegetable oil (palm), sugar, glucose syrup, water, salt and sodium carbonate as a raising agent. The product may contain traces of milk and soya. The bar is suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets and is Halal certified.
