The HELP BAG® plasma lighter does not burn gas. A 220 mAh (3.7 V) battery powers a built-in transformer, which produces an electric arc that ignites paper or tinder. This kind of arc is much more resistant to bad weather than the flame of an ordinary lighter.
How do you charge a plasma lighter? You plug it into a USB-C port with a cable from a charger or a power bank, just like a phone. A full charge takes up to 1,5 hours, and the battery lasts at least 300 charge cycles. The indicator on the housing shows the charge level (25, 50, 75 and 100%), so before a trip you know right away whether it needs a top-up.
