Purpose and basis of data processing

Personal data is processed for:

  • order processing,
  • user account handling,
  • customer contact,
  • handling complaints and returns,
  • marketing and analytical purposes.

Legal basis for data processing:

  • Article 6(1)(b) RODO - performance of the contract,
  • Article 6(1)(c) RODO - legal obligations (accounting),
  • Article 6(1)(f) RODO - legitimate interest (communication, redress, protection against fraud),
  • Article 6(1)(a) RODO - consent (marketing, cookies, analytical and advertising tools requiring consent).

Scope of data processing

  • name,
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number,
  • delivery and billing address,
  • Invoice data, including tax identification number,
  • order history,
  • technical data (IP address, cookie identifiers, browser and device data),
  • communication-related data.

Data sources

  • directly from the user (order forms and contact forms),
  • administrator sales systems,
  • marketplace platforms (if the purchase was made through them).

Recipients of data

  • courier and logistics companies,
  • payment operators,
  • accounting office,
  • providers of IT services, hosting, email, analytics and advertising tools,
  • sales platforms.

Data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to the USA, using appropriate mechanisms to legalise the transfer (SCC or EU-US Data Privacy Framework, if the relevant provider uses it).

Data storage time

  • data related to procurement and accounting records - up to 6 years,
  • user account data - for the duration of the activity and the period needed for the settlement of claims after its deletion,
  • marketing data - until you withdraw your consent or object,
  • data related to communication - for the period necessary for the handling of the case and the securing of claims.

Users' rights

You are entitled to:

  • right of access to data,
  • the right to rectification,
  • the right to erasure,
  • the right to restrict processing,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to object,
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time.

The exercise of rights shall take place no later than 30 days after receipt of the request. Requests should be addressed to: hello@helpbag.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Data Protection Authority.
