Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection

The controller of the personal data is HELP BAG Sp. z o.o., ul. Sadowa 12, 43-100 Tychy, Poland, NIP 6462998881, REGON 523157283, KRS 0000992798, e-mail: hello@helpbag.eu. The company has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.

Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Data

Personal data is processed for:

  • order fulfilment,
  • management of user accounts,
  • customer communication,
  • handling of complaints and returns,
  • marketing and analytical purposes.

Legal Bases for Processing Data:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract,
  • Article 6(1)(c) RODO - legal obligations (accounting),
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests (communication, pursuit of claims, protection against abuse),
  • Article 6(1)(a) RODO - consent (marketing, cookies, analytical and advertising tools requiring consent).

Scope of Data Processed

  • full name,
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number,
  • delivery and billing address,
  • invoice details, including VAT number,
  • order history,
  • technical data (IP address, cookie identifiers, browser and device data),
  • communication-related data.

Data Sources

  • directly from the user (order and contact forms),
  • the controller's sales systems,
  • marketplace platforms (where a purchase was made through them).

Data Recipients

  • courier and logistics companies,
  • payment processors,
  • accounting office,
  • IT service providers, hosting, e-mail, analytical and advertising tools,
  • sales platforms.

Data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to the USA, using appropriate mechanisms to legalise the transfer (SCC or EU-US Data Privacy Framework, if the relevant provider uses it).

Data Retention Period

  • data related to procurement and accounting records - up to 6 years,
  • user account data – for the duration of the account's activity and for the period required to settle claims following its deletion,
  • marketing data – until consent is withdrawn or an objection is raised,
  • data related to communication - for the period necessary for the handling of the case and the securing of claims.

Users' Rights

You are entitled to:

  • the right of access to data,
  • the right to rectification,
  • the right to erasure,
  • the right to restriction of processing,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to object,
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time.

The exercise of rights shall take place no later than 30 days after receipt of the request. Requests should be addressed to: hello@helpbag.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

These tools operate only after consent has been given, and their providers may process data outside the EEA on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
